A Special Thank You

Dear TNAsylum Readers,

Today is the 5-Year Anniversary of TNAsylum. This site was created five years ago on May 26th, 2010. A lot has happened and a lot has changed since that time.

When TNAsylum was created, we were a few months into the Hulk Hogan regime (change to 4-sided ring, a failed Monday Night Wars attempt and more). TNA had just moved back to Thursdays, RVD had just beaten AJ Styles for the World Heavyweight Title. But a lot has happened since that point:

ReAction temporarily aired, we had an ECW tribute show, the rise and fall of Immortal, the BFG Series, the World Title reign of Bobby Roode, the creation of Option C and the title reign of Austin Aries, Bruce Prichard's run, the Rise and Fall of the Aces and Eights, Championship Thursday, Gutcheck, the creation of One Night Only, dropping monthly PPVs, financial cutbacks, Big John Gaburick taking over, the departures of Sting, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Jeff Jarrett and more, the return of the Six Sides Ring, a Summer in the City, TNA leaving Spike TV and signing with Destination America and so much more. Throughout these events, TNAsylum was covering them all.

TNAsylum on the other hand created a legacy of its own. Many of today's top writers got their starts on TNAsylum. We created thousands of columns. We began Live IMPACT coverage. We created a "TNA Information" section. We honored TNA legends with the TNAsylum Pioneer Award. We created many unique column concepts that hadn't been seen before. We also created a distinct visual presentation using the Blogger platform.

Much like TNA did in the past year, TNAsylum also scaled back and streamlined itself focusing on key stories and cutting out filler. Since January 2014, JSO has mostly been running the site. If you are liking what you see, please let him know as he has done an incredible job with the site.

Where do we go from here? TNAsylum will continue doing what it does by bringing to you the top headline news from TNA Wrestling as well as unique and creative columns from its writers. While I will personally be focusing on my personal blog, I will still be doing "This Week on IMPACT." The site is in good hands as JSO will continue trying to make this the best TNA fansite with original writer-driven content.

Thank you all for supporting our site for the past five years. Without you, we wouldn't exist. We appreciate your support for TNA and your support for us.
