Talon's Take: After going through the current TNA match types for a project for the site, I noticed that TNA only has about two or three unique match types that they can call their own: Monster's Ball, Lethal Lockdown and Ultimate X. Of those, only Ultimate X is completely unique.

Years ago TNA had over a dozen unique matches that they used but through the Pritchard change and the arrival of Hogan and Bischoff, many of those concepts were scrapped. So if TNA was to create a new match, why not just tweak or bring back one of their old ones. Many of them still have some life.
