As Lex Luger famously said heading into his war with Sting for the WCW championship in 1991, there has been an “attitude adjustment.” You see, it’s no more Mr. Nice Messenger any more.
As Devon was unmasked this past Sunday, the Messenger experienced nothing less than a revelation, you see. The Aces and Eights are on the path of righteousness. They are leading the way to a better, stronger day for TNA/Impact Wrestling.
And while Busboy Ray is “getting the tables” for those politically connected cronies, Hulk Hogan and Sting, it is Devon who is proudly and courageously testifying his truth. The truth.
And The Messenger wants to help that cause in any way that I can. From this day forth, I pledge to serve as a sounding board for all that is Aces and Eights – a propaganda arm, if you will.
I do not claim membership in Aces and Eights – that is not for me to say. But if I am offered a chance to become a member, I will pursue that path eagerly, no matter where it takes me. In the meantime, I think I can safely say that I am aligned with Aces and Eights. And I look forward to their next moves, now that the group has won full access to TNA and Impact Wrestling. Surely, more will be revealed on Thursday, Oct. 18.
BTW, I congratulate Tara on her ascension to the Knockouts championship this past Sunday at Bound for Glory. It’s too bad there wasn’t more happy news. But no mind, the likes of Rob Van Dam, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy and team of Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez won’t be hanging on to their respective titles for too long, I trust. Not when there are real champions around, like Zema Ion, like Magnus, like Austin Aries (the Greatest Man That Ever Lived) and like Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarain.
Wrongs will be righted. Order will be restored.
In the meantime, the Messenger can hardly wait for the next big reveal. Who else besides Devon was “hiding in plain sight” until it was time for the Dead Man’s Hand to be revealed? I think I know some of the answers – certainly not all – but that is for all of you to find out in due time. Due time, as determined by the leadership of Aces and Eights.
And soon enough, I believe, the leadership of TNA and Impact Wrestling. Because, you see, Aces and Eights is taking over, and I plan to go on that journey right to the top of the wrestling world with this righteous, powerful and august group.
And someday it won’t be TNAsylum.com. It will be Aces and Eights Asylum.com, with the Messenger standing guard as the warden to all the attendant insanity.
Someday soon, you will all Heed the Messenger.
Now, hit MY music .....
